Chile, Argentina & Brazil Tour Introduction 9 to 22 January 2006

In January 2006 we went on a two-week forty-person group tour of Chile, Argentina and
Brazil organized by SmarTours.
From New York we flew to Santiago (Chile) for a couple of days. Then a flight of about
600 miles (950km) further south to Puerto Montt in the Chilean lake district. We then
spent a day crossing the Andes by bus and lake-ferry to the Argentinian mountain resort
of Bariloche for a couple of days. From there we flew to the Argentinian capital of
Buenos Aires for a few days, followed by a flight to Iguasu Falls on the border between
Argentina and Brazil, then a flight to Rio De Janeiro for a few days, ending our two-week
group tour.
