Kuala Lumpur   (continued)
Another interesting stop on the optional tour was at the Batu Caves, located about 10 miles (15
km) from Kuala Lumpur.  The cluster of enormous caves serves as a huge Hindu Temple
containing shrines with painted statues of Hindu Gods.  The Temple Cave is reached by walking
up a long flight of steps.

Our last day in Kuala Lumpur was the last day of our Malaysia tour.  We took the bus to the
magnificent Kuala Lumpur International Airport for our 24-hour trip home.  The airport is
architecturally outstanding with features such as free luggage carts designed for use on
escalators, a completely automated underground tram connecting the domestic and
international terminals, seating without armrests to allow waiting passengers to lie down,
excellent shopping, etc.
