Petropolis to New York --- 6 & 7 Feb 2006

The Casablanca Palace Hotel allowed us a 1:30pm checkout, at which time we left our bags with the
desk clerk and went to lunch. In the late afternoon we took a taxi to Petropolis' main bus station,
and from there rode a bus for an hour or two to Rio's main bus station, from where we took a
20-minute taxi ride to Galeao, Rio's international airport.
We had a light dinner at the airport and got onto a 9:30pm flight to Sao Paulo, connecting to an
11:59pm flight to New York's JFK airport, arriving there at 6:30am the following morning.
